Working with Temple Ford Architects we were asked to look at proposals for the interiors of the new community hub.
Multifunctional spaces can be complex to design; furniture, lighting and acoustics need to be carefully considered and designed for different uses and user groups.
These initial proposals looked at how to zone & sub divide the spaces for different uses, and the type of materials that
The sketch design for the ceiling proposals shows lighting, acoustic rafts & feature roof lights. Often acoustics can be overlooked but is really important in a large space such as a church or village hall, which often has predominantly hard surfaces.
Although originally appointed to look at the interior Design for the scheme, we also did a quick sketch for a possible concept for the exterior.
